Library Card Application
Residents of Groton are eligible to apply for a library card. Non-residents may use their valid library card from another CT public library to borrow materials. Please note: if you already have a Groton Public, Waterford, or a Mystic & Noank Library card, you do not need a separate Bill Memorial Library card.
Please submit the online form and give us at least 24 hours to process your request. You will receive a library card number valid for three (3) months.
When we reopen, you can obtain a physical card and extend your expiration date. You must bring proof of residency and a photo ID to the Library. Proof of residency includes a driver's license, piece of mail, utility bill, checkbook, bank statement, etc. with your current address listed.
Enter your first name, middle initial and last name. For example, John P. Smith
Best phone number to reach you:

*We respect your privacy. We will NEVER sell, rent, or share your email address.*
A parent must sign for children under 14 when you come to obtain your physical card or extend your expiration date.
Your library card should be presented when checking out materials. In your own interest, DO NOT lend your card and please report loss of card immediately. By clicking on the Submit button you are assuming responsibility for all materials taken out on this card.
