2026 The Web They Wove: Women and Their Wardrobes During the Revolution

Join the Dirty Blue Shirts on

Saturday, May 2nd at 1:00 pm.

This will be a program on New England women and their wardrobes during the Revolutionary
War. “The choices [women] made every day about fashion drove the course of the Revolution
just as determinedly as any congress,” says Rebecca Bayreuther Donohue, a member of the
group.

The presenters will wear costumes from the era that include reproduction clothing pieces and
fabric samples. There will also be a PowerPoint presentation with images of originals.

This presentation is free, but registration is required. To register, please click this link or call us.
