Most people know Lt. Colonel William Ledyard for his death during the Battle of Groton Heights in 1781. But what about his life? John Steward, who pens “Tossing Lines,” a column in The Day newspaper’s Times editions, will fill in the missing pieces of Ledyard’s legacy.
