Assemblage Art: Presented by the Lyman Allyn Art Museum @ Bill Memorial Library

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children in grades 1 through 5 to our first art program in a monthly spring series presented by the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. On Saturday, March 21 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sophia Gipstein from the Lyman Allyn Art Museum will lead kids in an Assemblage Art project inspired by Louise Nevelson. Assemblage is art that is made by assembling various elements, often everyday objects, scavenged by the artists or bought specifically for their projects.

All materials are supplied. This program is free but registration is required; to register or for more information, please stop by the library or call 860-445-0392.
