The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT is proud to host the performers from Flock Theater for “Readings from the Revolutionary Era” on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:30pm. Join us for a reading of original Revolutionary Era documents by the talented performers of Flock Theater, and watch as the Founding Era comes to life at the Bill Memorial Library. This program is free and open to the public, and students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend. Registration is appreciated. This programming series at the Library is made possible by a Revisiting the Founding Era grant awarded to the Bill Memorial Library in the summer of 2018. As part of the grant, The Bill Memorial Library received 10 copies of a reader containing scholarly essays on selected historical documents from the lauded Gilder Lehrman Collection, $1,000 to help implement programs, and additional digital resources, training, and support from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and the American Library Association.
