Girls Who Code Website Premiere

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT is proud to invite the community to a Website Premiere Party for the BML Chapter of Girls Who Code on Wednesday, May 9th at 4:00pm. Girls Who Code is a computer programming club for girls in grades 6-12 that empowers girls to pursue skills and careers in the field of computer science and close the gender gap in technology careers. The Bill Memorial Library chapter has designed and coded a website meant to better our community. At the premiere, club members will describe their project, the impact the website has on the community, and the mission of Girls Who Code. Please join us as we celebrate the achievements of these young computer programmers. This event is open to the public, and refreshments will be served. Please call the library at (860) 445-0392 for more information. The BML Girls Who Code program is sponsored by The Dime Foundation, The Groton Education Foundation, and Girls Who Code.
