Are you curious about virtual or augmented reality? Come to our Virtual/Augmented Reality Workshops at the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT on Thursday, November 7th, November 14th, and November 21st at 5:30 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to learn about virtual and augmented reality using apps and devices. This event is free for all teens and participants are encouraged to bring a smartphone or tablet if they have one. If they do not, we will have a few extra devices for in-library use. Can you solve the murder mystery...before it's too late? 

The Teens of the Bill Memorial Library are proud to present "Haunted Library: Murder Mystery Noir" on Saturday, October 26th from 6-8pm.  This spooky production will take you on a 1950's era tour through the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT as you seek to solve a high-profile murder case. 

Tickets are $5/person or $20/family at the door.  All proceeds benefit the Bill Memorial Library.  This event is recommended for participants ages 10 and up and will contain fog, moments of darkness, and flashing lights.

The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in Groton City, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold.  The library, now approaching its’ 130th consecutive year of service, has an extensive collection of books and media for children, teens and adults, including downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, museum passes and discount tickets. The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites Halloween trick-or-treaters to visit the library and pick up a treat bag on Thursday, October 31, 2019.  Library hours are between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and treat bags are available while supplies last.  For more information, please stop by the library or call 860-445-0392

Pumpkin season is here! Design a pumpkin that perfectly represents your favorite novel or comic book character for our Literary Pumpkin Patch at the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT on Thursday, October 17th, at 5:30 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to decorate a pumpkin and enter a contest for MVP: Most Valuable Pumpkin. This event is free for all teens and all materials, including pumpkins, will be provided. Registration is required. Please call the library at (860)445-0392 to reserve your space.
