ANIMAL EMBASSY PROGRAM AT THE BILL MEMORIAL LIBRARY THIS SUMMER! Kids in grades 1-5 are invited to join us Wednesday, August 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton for an Over the Moon Animal Adventure presented by Animal Embassy. Join Animal Embassy on this nocturnal journey through the fascinating night life of the animal kingdom! Black Light Party for Teens!

Teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited to a Black Light Party at the Bill Memorial Library in the city of Groton, CT on Thursday, August 8th at 6:00pm to celebrate the close of summer reading. The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites kids in grades K-5 to make out-of-this-world Galaxy Crafts on Tuesday, July 30 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Stop by and make a stellar masterpiece to take home. Complete a trivia quiz to earn a chance for prizes. This craft program is part of the library’s A Universe of Stories! 2019 Summer Reading program.

Common Ground Community Café

On Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:100 a.m., the Bill Memorial Library, at 240 Monument Street, Groton, CT, will be hosting the Common Ground Community Café. This program will provide residents an opportunity to meet and enjoy a cup of coffee with City of Groton Police Chief Michael Spellman and other members of the City of Groton Police Department. The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children entering grades K-5 to a drawing workshop series with Jason Deeble on Wednesday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m. Bring characters and stories to life in these hands-on cartooning workshops and expand your drawing skills and stretch your imagination.
