Summer Food Service Program @ BML

Free Healthy breakfasts and lunches are available this summer at the Bill Memorial Library. Sponsored by the Groton Public Schools and the US Department of Agriculture, nutritious meals are available to children 18 and under, Monday - Friday, 06/24/2019 - 08/16/2019. 19. Breakfasts are available 9:00 - 9:20 a. m. and lunches will be available 12: 20 - 12:45 p.m.

Meet the Donkeys of Tripledale Farm!

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton will host the donkeys of Tripledale Farm of Guilford on Tuesday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. Meet the donkeys up close and learn about these thoughtful intelligent creatures. In case of bad weather, the rain date for the program is Thursday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Bill Memorial Library, this program is part of the library's A Universe of Stories! 2019 Summer Reading program. Bottle Rockets for Teens

Teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited to design and launch their own 2-liter soda bottle rocket at the Bill Memorial Library in the city of Groton, CT on Tuesday, July 2nd at 6:00 pm. Gaming @ the Library for Teens & Adults

All teens and adults are invited to join the Citadel Game Cellar and the Bill Memorial Library as they present "Gaming @ the Library" on Saturday, June 29th from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. There will be tabletop gaming for gamers of all levels. Teen entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited to the Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton, CT for “To The Library & Beyond Book Club”. Participants are invited to read a book of their choosing that fits a weekly theme. For specific dates and themes, please visit www.billmemorial.org/summer-reading. A Universe of Stories - Teen Summer Reading Kickoff Event

Summer is here, and that means it’s time for summer reading! Teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited to the Kickoff of “A Universe of Stories” at the Bill Memorial Library in the city of Groton, CT on Tuesday, June 25th at 6:00pm. The evening will include party games, air brush tattoos, and make-your-own tie-dye t-shirts. Teens will also have a chance to register for our summer reading program and pick up their reading log. The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites kids in grades K through 5 to Animals Around the World, an exciting look at the animals that share our world, on Tuesday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. Presented by The Creature Teachers, this program is part of the library’s A Universe of Stories! 2019 Summer Reading program. A Universe of Stories! Summer Reading for Adults

The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites adults age 18 and older to blast-off with A Universe of Stories! our 2019 Summer Reading Program. Beginning Wednesday, June 26 through Saturday, August 3 participants can fill out an entry form available at the front desk and earn a raffle ticket for each book review you submit. Open to adults age 18 and older and the winners of the prize drawings will be notified after August 7. SUMMER TIME OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD STORY TIME Summer time is the best time for Story Time! The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children of all ages and their families to Summer Time Rocket Time Story Time on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. We will blast off with favorite out-of-this-world stories and live music.
