2014 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
This year's theme features SCIENCE!! Sign up to play our board game and try to win great prizes. Everyone who plays the game will choose a free book at the the end of the program in August! Fizz! Boom! READ! is for kids in grades 1-5, but there are also Summer Reading programs for everyone! Preschoolers can participate with our Read-To-Me sheets and earn free books, and Teens and Adults can also read for prizes!
SUMMER CHILDREN'S STORY PROGRAMS
SUMMERTIME STORY TIME
Summertime’s the best time for Story Time! Join us for Summertime Story Time every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. We will gather in our outdoor program area and enjoy a variety of entertaining stories under the shade of the trees in the library yard. In case of inclement weather we will meet inside the library. No registration is needed: the program begins July 1 and ends August 5. For more information please call the library at 860-445-0392.
SUN, SAND & STORIES
Look for our special library reader under the umbrella at Eastern Point Beach at 10:30 on Thursday mornings. Soak up the sun and a few good books this summer. Sun Sand and Stories begins July 3 and runs through August 7. Beach pass is required for entrance to the beach.
